Remember, Aliyah was 6 when she wrote her story for “Story Pirates”. The ideas were all hers. Anyone can be a writer at any age. Writing should be fun, creative, meaningful and important to the author.
Encourage your students to write like Aliyah did. They can handwrite, voice-text, scribe, type their ideas. Just get their ideas out! Tell the families what you're working on and ask them to submit their child’s story to “Story Pirates” saying they were inspired by Aliyah’s “The Bike that is a Car” story!
The enjoyment of writing and maybe getting published!. Submit stories to “Story Pirates”. https://www.storypirates.com/submit-a-story
